The Nub Top surface is made up of 1.5 mm diameter, 1.3 mm high nubs, spaced 4.4 mm apart which creates a lifting effect that reduces contact between product and belt surface and eliminates product suction to the belt. The surface design has a higher release point that shortens product contact time and adhesion and facilitates a cleaner release.
The belt’s 15% open area offers excellent drainage during production and clean-up operations, says Intralox, resulting in reduced product damage and highly effective dewatering capabilities.
