Intended for cleaning tanks, reactors and vessels, Spraying Systems’ retractable tank washer eliminates manual cleaning and reduces consumption of chemicals and water. A pneumatic mechanism lowers and raises the washer at the beginning and end of cleaning cycles; multiple stopping points between full insertion and retraction can be set at the control panel, allowing nozzles to be positioned in locations where more cleaning impact is required or to clean around internal tank obstructions. Suitable for removing difficult residues with cleaning cycles ranging from 2.1 to 11 minutes, the washer operates at pressures up to 4,000psi (275 bar) and temperatures up to 140°F. Explosion-proof versions are available, as well as optional isolation valves, liquid valves and liquid pressure switches for applications requiring additional safety.
