Carton Council receives partnership award

A new report from research firm Markets and Markets predicts the beverage packaging market to grow from 2012's $97.2 billion to $125.7 billion by 2018. Researchers predict the Asia Pacific region to grow the fastest, and expect growth in Europe to come mainly from Eastern European markets. India, China and Brazil are considered to have the largest growth potential.

The report says dairy beverage packaging is the fastest growing market, followed by non-alcoholic packaging. Alcoholic packaging still has the highest share, but has become a mature market with a lower growth rate than dairy or non-alcoholic packaging.
