Smithfield Foods broke ground on an expansion to its Cudahy, WI dry sausage facility, which produces the Patrick Cudahy brand and Smithfield products. The additional 12,500 sq. ft. will accommodate four new smokehouses and two dry rooms.
ConAgra Foods will add up to 150 jobs at its South Beloit, IL cookie manufacturing plant as a result of a $15 million expansion, which is expected to be complete in 2016.
