Sharon Nowakjoined theK-Tron Feeder Groupas the global business development manager for the food and pharmaceutical industries. Prior to this position, Nowak worked forHosokawa Micron Systemsintegrating feeders into food and pharmaceutical systems.

Dole Food Co. promoted Richard Dahl to president and chief operating officer. Previously, he served as senior vice president and chief financial officer. Joseph Tesoriero assumes this position. Dole also named C. Michael Carter as executive vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary and Scott Griswold as executive vice president, corporate development.



Thomas Hunt Shipman is executive vice president of government affairs and communications for the National Food Processors Association. Prior to joining NFPA, Shipman served as majority staff director for the US Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition and Forestry. Susan Ferenc also joined the association's staff as executive vice president of scientific and regulatory affairs.

A joint venture between Key Technology and Peco Controls, InspX was formed to develop and manufacturer X-ray inspection systems.
