Two of the Northeast dairy industry's independent companies, Organic Valley Family of Farms and Guida's Milk and Ice Cream, formed a co-processing partnership. All Organic Valley HTST white milks are being processed at Guida's milk and ice cream facility in New Britain, CT.
Dole Food Co. promoted Richard Dahl to president and chief operating officer. Previously, he served as senior vice president and chief financial officer. Joseph Tesoriero assumes this position. Dole also named C. Michael Carter as executive vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary and Scott Griswold as executive vice president, corporate development.
Thomas Hunt Shipman is executive vice president of government affairs and communications for the National Food Processors Association. Prior to joining NFPA, Shipman served as majority staff director for the US Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition and Forestry.
