Columbia/Okura L.L.C. offers a line of robotic palletizers that can be configured for easy separation and removal of out-of-specification products whether they are packaged in bags, cases or bundles. The palletizers can receive an upstream signal from a check weigher or metal detector identifying specific packages that do not meet user-defined requirements. The robot can either stack the product on a separate reject pallet for removal by a forklift or place the product on an exit gravity conveyor for immediate inspection.
