Sherwin-Williams is incorporating AgION Technologies’ antimicrobial protection in its FasTop product line of General Polymer brand flooring systems.  The silver-based antimicrobial in the coatings protects the cured coating against bacteria and mold and can be used for applications in food processing facilities. The antimicrobial additive provides protection from microbes in the cracks and crevices in flooring by releasing silver ions at a slow and steady rate.
