Hi-Speed’s Cornerstone series of checkweighers now come with Hi-Speed X-series controllers. Featuring a color touch screen control panel and embedded industrial PC, X-series controllers have adopted OMAC standards to ease machine integration; the systems can be connected to plant-wide networks using Ethernet, PLC or serial connectivity. Suitable for controlling upstream processes, the checkweighers reduce under-fill and over-fill products by providing automatic, real-time feedback to fillers on trends or out-of-tolerance conditions. Cornerstone checkweighers currently in the field can be equipped with the new controllers.
