Cylindrical dryers for the process industries are available from Charles Ross & Son. The dryer can include special features such as a variety of constuction materials, including hastelloy and stainless steel, full vacuum and internal pressure operation, dimpled and baffled jackets on trough sides and endplates to 200 psig, polished surfaces up to a mirror finish, special discharge valves such as flush plug, spherical and slide gate. Designs are available from 1 to over 500 cu. ft. Other options include choppers for size reduction, spray nozzles, variable-speed drives and control systems.
