Modular proximity sensors

Omron Electronics says its E2A sensor offers 1.5 to 2.0 times the sensing distance of standard sensing range proximity sensors. The extended range is designed to allow users to mount the sensors further away from tooling and work pieces, reducing sensor damage. Available in more than 220 models, the E2A features thicker housing, a fully vacuum-potted construction, built-in wrench flats and LED operation indicators.
