Model 8-4000 weld head from Arc Machines, Inc. is an orbital weld head for fusion TIG (GATW) welding for fittings, tubing and thin wall pipe. It features a cooling design that allows for high duty cycle welding. This weld head is suitable for limited clearance applications such as welding fitting-to-fitting or fitting-to-valve body assemblies.
The Model 8-4000 comes in sizes ranging from 0.25 inch O.D. to 4.000 inch O.D. (6.35mm to 104mm O.D.). The unit can weld materials such as stainless steel, titanium, Hastelloy and other alloys.
