A line of small, square and rectangular inductive proximity and position sensors for tight-spaced robotics, conveyor and material handling applications range in size from 4-mm square to 20-mm rectangular. They are available in heights from 1⁄4- to 1⁄2-in. high. The rectangular inductive sensors are available in on/off models that detect the presence of a ferrous object or variable output models that report precise positioning data. Discrete sensors feature a red LED that indicates whether output is activated. All sensors are available pre-wired with a permanent cable or removable cables.
