The Ross 42NSD ribbon blender features a discharge screw positioned across the entire bottom of the trough powered by a separate direct drive system for independent speed control; the screw runs forward only during the discharge cycle and in reverse during the blending cycle to help eliminate dead zones and enhance more thorough mixing. Capable of discharging continuously at variable rates to match downstream packaging operations, the blender features all stainless steel-type 316 construction, a 150-grit finish on all surfaces, dust-tight 2-piece cover with clamps, liquid spray nozzles, 3-in. diameter discharge screw, load cells and NEMA 12 stainless steel control panel.
