Sanitary pumps are suitable for most applications where bacteria and contamination must be avoided and/or frequent cleanup is required. The pumps have a quick-disassembly design for easy cleaning, with no valves to clog or vapor lock. They can handle fluid temperatures up to 400º F and solids up to one inch in diameter. Other features include standard mechanical seals, and all 150 standard models meet 3A sanitary requirements with no modifications necessary. A combination close-coupled/open-throat design is offered in a standard model. Applications include food processing and dairy.
