
KVP says its PR620SPS plastic spiral belt for conveying small products offers radius strength over 1.5 times greater than conventional spiral belts. The company says the belt has 570 lbs. of radius strength in widths from 12 in. to 60 in. (with a two-to-one safety factor). In straight AC configurations, belt strength rises to 1,500 lbs./ft. (with a two-to-one safety factor). It offers a thicker beam, enabling a design with more ridges and wider rail spacing.
