Bimetalix's Thin Wall Stainless SSHE Cylinder is for food manufacturers requiring smaller wall thickness for improved heat transfer without a drop in internal pressure rating. The unit uses high-strength stainless that allows cylinders to be machined to a smaller wall thickness without any decline in internal pressure. Thinner walls allow for better heat transfer. Hardness of the ID is low, which limits the need for wiper blades to only composite materials. If higher hardness is needed, the cylinders can be hard-chrome plated.
