Designed for inspecting the surface of materials, VisionPro Surface software combines a new visual defect detection and classification technology with a simple user interface for defect detection, classification and surface texture assessment during the manufacturing process. It monitors the visual appearance of the material and uses statistical analysis to automatically identify potential defects in the material’s surface; it classifies defects into user-defined groups based on similarity in contrast, texture and/or geometry. Users can adjust system sensitivity for defect detection and assign names or values for defects.
