MoreMettler-Toledo has a new line of extra-durable washdown scales designed to withstand the rigors of harsh food manufacturing, chemical and industrial environments, says the company. The new TRIMWEIGH III scales are sold as complete scales with a base and terminal with hermetically sealed stainless steel load cells and a specially designed understructure.
The open construction of the scale bases’ understructures allow for easy cleaning, and full drainage while solid base plates prevent much of the potential splash back of debris and washdown spray. The scale comes in three base sizes (9 x 9 inches, 12 x 12 inches and 18 x 18 inches) and in five weighing capacities. The unit can be column-mounted or wall-mounted.
