Rockwell Automation launched the DODGE TIGEAR-2 family of single-reduction, right-angle worm-speed reducers. A totally-enclosed, ventless sealing system contains a factory-filled synthetic lubricant that accommodates a wide range of operating temperatures and runs cooler than other synthetics, eliminating the need for routine oil changes.

The TIGEAR-2 line offers four new sizes previously unavailable in Rockwell’s worm reducer family. The TIGEAR-2 reducer is dimensionally interchangeable on a size by size basis with current TIGEAR reducers and competitive models. It is also available in corrosion-resistant materials that make it suitable for severe washdown applications.
