Food Logistics Forum to explore critical cold chain issues
Frozen food makers, food retailers, foodservice companies, third-party logistics providers and other cold chain industry professionals will meet in New Orleans for the Food Logistics Forum, an event for examining the latest cold chain industry issues, trends, techniques and developments.
Co-hosted by the American Frozen Food Institute (AFFI) and the Global Cold Chain Alliance (GCCA), the event is scheduled for June 3-5 at the Royal Sonesta Hotel. This year’s forum will explore a broad range of critical cold chain issues, including truck and driver shortages, new federal hours of service rules, Compliance Safety and Accountability (CSA) scores, container availability, intermodal options and disaster planning, featuring a case study on dealing with Hurricane Katrina.
