Dry Processing

Electromagnetic screeners

Eriez electromagnetic screeners size, scalp or de-dust dry bulk solid materials. The linear screeners are available in a variety of drive designs to meet specific application requirements. The electromagnetic screener B and C models are suited for fine material separations and produce 3,600 vibrations per minute (3000 vpm at 50 Hz power) and low amplitude, 0.060 in. (l.5 mm). They can be used for applications such as fine mesh (4 to 200 mesh) separation.

Models are also available for Class II, Div. 1, Group F and G environments. High-deflection (HD) models have all the advantages of an electromagnetic design with the added benefit of high amplitude. HD models operate at a fixed rate of 1,800 vibrations per minute at approximately 0.1875-in. amplitude, similar to a mechanical screener.fex0212dpt6_inbod.jpg
