The Servo 3500 auger filling system features the advantages of a direct drive servo design and a commercially available PLC and operator interface. It has a 6-in., two-color touch-screen operator interface that allows the operator easy access to all filling parameters. All settings can be adjusted from the control panel for uninterrupted filling: number of auger revolutions, speed, acceleration rate and agitator speed and mode. A servo motor is connected directly to the auger tooling, providing a reduction in wear parts and an improvement in filling accuracy.
