Columbia/Okura robotic palletizers handle both cases and pails without changing tooling. Equipped with a versatile end effector, the robot uses a flexible vacuum-grip system to adapt to a variety of pail and case sizes. The small footprint makes it easy to integrate into existing production areas where a single machine can handle up to four production lines simultaneously, says the company. The units feature touch screen interfaces for user-friendly pattern programming and easy operation. They include built-in diagnostics and fewer moving parts.
