Ross’ new line of high-speed dispersers includes a dust-tight cover with enclosed charging openings to contain solids to the mixing vessel. The equipment also includes fixed connections for charging of raw materials direct from the bulk-solids-transfer system. The mixers also include a 100 psi air/oil hydraulic lift to raise and lower the dispersion head, stainless steel wetted parts, an air-operated diaphragm pump to discharge mixed materials from the vessel, non-sparking caster wheels on the mix vessel and a special charging hopper. Hydraulic-lift designs are available in sizes from 5 through 100 hp, while fixed tank models are offered through 200 hp.
