Watson-Marlow Bredel's SPX 10 and SPX 15 hose pumps are designed to fit 10 mm and 15 mm hoses, respectively. The direct-coupled design features a twin-bearing hub integrated into on the pumphead. The rotor is supported by its own bearings. This design results in improved alignment of the pumphead and drive. The company says the greased-for-life pump bearings are incorporated into the cast-iron SPX pumphead, reducing maintenance and set-up times. A leak-proof zone has been created between the pumphead bearings and the gearbox bearings. The pumps offer transfer and metering to 350 gpm and pressures of up to 230 psi.
