The XL7 series of in-line viscometers from Hydramotion gives continuous viscosity measurement of any fluid in any process condition. The units are simple to install and maintenance free, says the company. There is no need for extra piping because the instrument can be mounted anywhere and in any orientation. It is clean-in-place compatible and can be supplied with any process fitting, including quick-release Tri-Clamp, RJT, IDF or DIN connectors. The sensor is constructed of all-welded, crevice-free 316 stainless steel and has no moving parts, seals or bearings.
