
Thermo Electron's Ramsey AC9 GP/Goring Kerr DSP IP checkweighing and metal detection combination system handles items from 50 grams to two kilos at up to 350 ppm and screens products from 200-mm wide up to 125-mm high for metal contaminants. Incorporating separate weight and metal contaminant reject systems and bins, the combined unit controls and records metal rejects from its checkweigher processor. The company says the system stands up to high-pressure washdowns.
