Once the test is activated, the meter gradually scales down the actual input frequency, simulating a slowdown while the system maintains its normal running speed. The function reduces the meter’s display speed and triggers the set point relays, verifying the system’s response to alarm status and system shutdown condition. The meter is available with a single-channel or quadrature signal decoding for bidirectional applications, allowing it to detect speed and direction. It is also available with 6 relays and 4-20mA analog output.
