The Bolz-Summix inflatable seal ball segment valve handles difficult and severe process applications and delivers sealing for many types of process equipment operating under full vacuum or pressurized process conditions. The inflatable seal technology provides dust-, liquid- and gas-tight sealing, and the seal does not face mechanical forces during opening and closing of the valve to provide maximum sealing, extended working life and low maintenance. The valve has the ability to automatically move the segment vertically by 15 mm before rotating the segment open, which is beneficial in applications where the product forms a hardened layer over the segment, because the vertical movement breaks the segment free from the hardened layer.
