The GYRoCOMPACT M10 tight-curve spiral freezer from FMC FoodTech has a footprint the same width as the previous model, but offers 40% greater capacity. The unit's 40-in. belt expands on the outermost side and collapses on the innermost to create a tight radius and curve, while its patented pulling link is integrated in the mesh of the belt, creating a completely flat belt surface. It offers the FRIGoDRIVE M drive system, which advances the conveyor belt using only rolling friction for increased speed, less lubrication and lower drive forces.
