Ossid's 300S tray sealer hermetically seals film to the lip of a standard, virgin foam tray and allows package fills of up to 11⁄2 in. above the lip. The sealer creates a leakproof lidded tray, which eliminates moisture flows at the underside of the package, says the company. Constructed of stainless steel and anodized aluminum, the machine is built to support a wet work environment and is suitable for poultry and other fresh-packed meat products.
