MorePearson Packaging Systems introduced the N2250-T Carton Combine that automatically unitizes two cartons into one item to simplify conveying, palletizing and distribution.
Cartons are unitized by applying pressure sensitive tapes to the top and bottom of pairs of cartons. Special tape allows cartons to be easily separated at point of purchase.
The new design provides combining speeds of up to 225 cartons/min to make 125 combined units/min. Initial applications include the Fridge Pack and Fridge Vendor beverage cartons.
