Fluidization for conveyors

The C-Series vacuum conveyors from PIAB Vacuum Conveyors offer fluidization, a process that allows compressed air to pass through a porous material creating a cushion or film to reduce the friction between material and base. The air is then mixed with the material to reduce friction between the particles, enabling them to flow more fluidly. Among other uses, the feature allows nitrogen to be introduced into the vacuum receiver without custom modifications, according to PIAB.
