Eriez' RF (radial field) cartridge magnets remove contaminants from dry, free-flowing granular products conveyed in pneumatic pipelines. Material enters the housing and is distributed by a stainless cone near the magnetic cartridge. Ferrous contamination is attracted and held by the magnet while the remaining product continues past and out of the housing. The contamination remains on the magnet until it is removed and cleaned, according to the company.
