The ColdFront liquid nitrogen immersion freezing system from Praxair allows users to immerse product in a liquid nitrogen bath from either a conveyor belt or top-loading system, producing an instant crust freeze that locks in natural flavors and moisture. This increases yield and maintains better product quality, resulting in an immediate production increase in throughput for in-line freezing equipment following the immersion system, says the company.
