Clextral's Manufacturing Execution System (MES) gives food processors a genealogy of each production run. The company says its system provides complete traceability from raw materials to finished product, provides detailed data that aids in optimization of the manufacturing process and control of manufacturing costs and enables the processor to quickly react to changing processing conditions or raw material fluctuations. A centralized database can receive information from multiple modules and information can be input manually by an operator or automatically by the equipment PLC and fed to the core database.
