Ross' double planetary mixer offers a 1⁄2-pint working capacity for bench-top research and development of highly viscous materials, up to 6 million centipoises. The mixer is supplied with a vacuum, sight/charge port, light, jacketed mix vessel and a thermocouple to sense batch temperature. A complete control panel is also provided and includes a frequency inverter to control blade speeds, a batch cycle timer and temperature indication. All parts coming into contact with the product are constructed of type 316 stainless steel.
