Hawk’s Gladiator Smart Admittance level switch detects the level of liquid, slurry or powder in a tank or vessel, and measures the capacitance or “admittance” between a probe and the wall of the container. As the product rises to the level of the probe or drops below that level, the switch detects the change and produces an output. The switch communicates using Modbus, HART or Profibus protocols; a remote amplifier can be positioned up to 1,640 ft. away from the unit. A variety of probe types are available to meet specific application requirements.
