McKee Foods, makers of Little Debbie snack cakes, announced the brand’s logo will receive an update for the first time since 1985. The logo will be only the fourth since the brand’s introduction in 1960, and products featuring the updated look will hit shelves in the next month. "The previous logo looked a little dated, so it was time for a minor makeover,” said Chris McKee, executive vice president of marketing and sales for McKee Foods. “We opted to make subtle changes because we wanted to keep the same wholesome look that was based on an original portrait of my cousin, Debbie McKee-Fowler.”
