Corona, Calif.-based Envolve Foods has recalled more than 292,000 pounds of ready-to-eat chicken and beef products that contain a vegetable that may be contaminated with Salmonella and Listeria monocytogenes.
The products were produced and packaged from Feb. 2, 2017 to Oct. 12, 2018. The products bear establishment number "EST. 44857" inside the USDA mark of inspection, and they were shipped to distribution warehouses nationwide. The problem was discovered when Envolve Foods was informed by its vegetable supplier that the vegetables may be contaminated.
