JBS USA subsidiary Swift Beef is recalling nearly 100,000 pounds of ground beef products that may be contaminated with E. coli O157:H7, the second recall for JBS in two months.
The bulk ground beef produced Oct. 24 at the Swift facility in Hyrum, Utah, was shipped to retail distributors for further processing and food service distributors for institutional use in California, Nevada, Oregon, Utah and Washington, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced.
