The Pinnacle chiller from AEC, Inc. offers rotational compression technology with scroll compressors. Scrolls use 50% fewer moving parts than reciprocating compressors, resulting in higher efficiency and reliability and less noise, says the company. The series is available in 30 to 100 ton capacities, in both air-cooled and water-cooled packages, featuring scroll compressors, brazed-plate evaporators and a stainless steel reservoir tank. Independent refrigerant circuits allow routine maintenance without downtime and compressor staging provides capacity control.
