Ben & Jerry's promoted Walt Freese from chief marketing officer to chief euphoria officer.

Ben & Jerry's promoted Walt Freese from chief marketing officer to chief euphoria officer. He succeeds Yves Couette, who became senior vice president for Unilever's beverages category.

The Coca-Cola Co. elected Irial Finan as executive vice president. Previously, Finan was president of Coca-Cola's bottling investments division where he managed the company's equity investments in bottler operations.

Compound Natural Foods, Inc. purchased Pure Nature LLC and its HydroCharge line of natural sports drinks. Natural Foods expects to acquire more companies in the natural foods and beverages sector.

Aeroglide Corp. promoted Tom Mix to senior vice president of worldwide sales. Mix joined Aeroglide in 1992, initially directing international sales, and in 2001 he began managing the company's global sales force.

InfinityQS International and FMC FoodTech formed an agreement to develop an OEM version of the InfinityQS SPC (statistical process control) software adapted to the needs of the food processing industry. The new product, LINK Process Analysis, will be available exclusively through FMC FoodTech.

Kraft Foods Inc. hired Mark Berlind as executive vice president, global corporate affairs. Prior to joining Kraft, he was vice president and associate general counsel for Altria Corporate Services.

Dermot Carey was named vice president, ingredients division for WestFarm Foods. R. Stephen Harper retired as vice president, consumer products and was replaced by Brian Linney, previously director of retail sales.

Wayne Eide was elected vice president of aftermarket sales and support for Loma Systems, where he will manage the parts and service support for the Loma and Cintex product lines. Eide was previously aftermarket business manager at Cintex of America for 12 years.

The Houston, TX-based Nestle Waters North America Ozarka brand bottling plant, designed and built by Haskell Co., received "Silver" Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design certification from the US Green Building Council.
