Donnie Smith

Donnie D. King was named senior group vice president of Tyson’s Poultry and Prepared Foods, replacing Donnie Smith, who was named Tyson’s president and chief executive officer. Noel White was selected senior group vice president of Tyson Fresh Meats, which is the company’s beef and pork business. He succeeds Jim Lochner, who is now Tyson’s chief operating officer.


Molson Coors appointed Krishnan Anand as president, Molson Coors International, where he will lead the company’s international business outside of its mature markets in the US, Canada and the UK.

Kellogg Company promoted Ronald Dissinger to chief financial officer. He was previously vice president and chief financial officer for Kellogg North America.


Sargento Foods Inc. appointed Louie Gentine as its president & chief customer officer. Michael Pellegrino joined Sargento as president of its consumer products division.


Nestlé Professional acquired Vitality Foodservice Inc., a North American beverage solution provider to the foodservice industry. The transaction excludes the Vitality European manufacturing and distribution business.


PepsiCo agreed with Dr. Pepper Snapple Group Inc. (DPS) to manufacture and distribute certain DPS products following completion of PepsiCo’s acquisition of its two anchor bottlers, The Pepsi Bottling Group Inc. and PepsiAmericas Inc.

Agropur’s US subsidiary, Trega Foods, acquired Green Meadows Foods, a new cheese factory located in Hull, IA.


ESE Inc. named Joe Trygar as its vice president of sales.


Air Products and Chemicals Inc. announced a long-term supply contract and plans to build a new world-scale hydrogen production plant to serve ExxonMobil’s Rotterdam refinery in the Netherlands, as well as additional customers in the region. The plant, which will be connected to Air Products’ existing Rotterdam hydrogen pipeline network system, is expected to be operational by mid-2011.


SSOE changed its name to SSOE Group. The name change, as well as the EPCM (engineering, procurement, construction management) designation, allows the company a to fully represent its design, construction and program management services.
