Combining an SD58 top-loading module with a P5 palletizing module, the Cermex SD/P5 Combi case packing and palletizing unit has a completely modular design. Integrating a range of loading arms, the combined unit handles packaging throughout each phase. Motorized adjustment points make case format changeovers completely automatic. Gripping/transfer tooling includes the rotation function necessary to build required pallet patterns. A mobile cubicle partition, which is slid between the two palletizing stations by the unit’s telescopic arm, enables handling full and empty pallets without stopping the machine cycle.
