Assurance GDS for Salmonella is the first commercially available DNA-based detection method to provide Salmonella results in as few as 20 hours, says BioControl Systems, the manufacturer. It offers accuracy in the form of multiple layers of specificity including immunomagnetic separation, highly specific primers and patented probe systems. Completing the system is the Rotor-Gene, a multi-channel rotary cycler for the amplification and detection of the target. It can read multiple, distinct targets, helping to eliminate the need for melt curves.
