The Gericke Cone Nibbler from Powder Technologies handles size reduction by a combination of compression, impact and shear forces to which the material is subjected as the rotor arm moves over the stationary cone wall. Due to low residence time in the grinding zone, very low temperatures are generated during milling, making it suitable for use with heat-sensitive products. It can be used on spices, nuts, gum base products, dextrose, malt extracts, dehydrated vegetables, bread crumbs, granulated sugar, processed cereals and chocolate.
