Watlow's Series SD 1/32 DIN panel-mount size, single-display PID temperature/process controller can provide an optional countdown timer that supports timed temperature/process control, as well as on/off timing for a variety of external devices such as pumps, fans and lamps. It can be programmed to control at-the-timer set point value during the timing period and then revert to the static set point value when the countdown time has elapsed. Suitable for food equipment, the optional timer can operate in both open- and closed-loop modes and be set in hours, minutes and seconds.
