The Loma X4 800XL X-ray system inspects large trays, boxes and packaged products up to 31 in. wide. Engineered to survive in tough environments, the system is constructed of 304 stainless steel in a bead blast finish, and has oversized conveyor drive motors and components to handle heavy products. It detects metal, high-density plastics, glass, stone, calcified bone and flavor clumps; it can also perform detailed product analysis and functions such as missing/broken component detection, shape recognition and over-/under-filled container analysis. Its remote diagnostic feature allows the machine to be accessed by a customer service representative via the Internet.
