The C2TX from Wenger is a conical co-rotating twin-screw extruder that generates compression continuously throughout the barrel. The co-rotating conical screws have a profile that kneads the ingredients as they are forced through the extruder. Changes in final product density, color, cell structure and surface texture are present only seconds after making a change in a process variable.

The C2TX-8.1 has a motor power of 300 kW and a capacity of 1,000 to 8,000 kg/hr. The C2TX-16.2 has a motor power of 600 kW and a capacity of 2,000 to 16,000 kg/hr.
